Business Change Manager (Contract)

Location: Barcelona/Work from Home Country: Spain Rate: EUR600 per day

We are seeking a seasoned Business Change Manager with extensive experience in leading global ERP replacement initiatives. You will need to be fluent in English and Spanish, possessing exceptional communication skills to effectively engage and inspire dispersed teams across the UK and Spain. As a pivotal member of our team, you will lead change management efforts to ensure the successful adoption and integration of a new ERP system, leveraging your expertise to win the hearts and minds of stakeholders and drive organisational transformation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead change management activities for a global ERP replacement project, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training initiatives.
  2. Develop and implement change management strategies and plans tailored to the unique needs and cultures of teams in the UK and Spain.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess organisational readiness for change, identify potential risks and barriers, and develop mitigation strategies.
  4. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance and recommendations on change management best practices and strategies for success.
  5. Foster a culture of openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement, championing the benefits and opportunities of the ERP replacement to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  6. Create and deliver compelling communications, presentations, and training materials in both English and Spanish to ensure clarity and understanding among diverse audiences.
  7. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the UK and Spain, serving as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to facilitate alignment and collaboration.
  8. Lead change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis to identify key influencers and champions who can support and drive change within their respective teams.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities, collecting feedback and insights to refine approaches and ensure successful adoption of the new ERP system.
  10. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to change management and ERP implementations, sharing knowledge and insights with the project team and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience leading change management efforts for global ERP replacement projects, preferably within multinational organisations.
  3. Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  6. Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade others, with a track record of successfully winning hearts and minds to drive organisational change.
  7. Experience developing and executing change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs to support large-scale initiatives.
  8. Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and lead teams through periods of transition and transformation.
  9. Project management certification (eg, PMP, PRINCE2) and change management certification (eg, Prosci) are desirable.
  10. Willingness to travel occasionally between the UK and Spain as needed to support project activities and engage with stakeholders.
