Our client are a successful enterprise organisation based in Manchester who continue to grow and make new investments within technology.
Role Overview:
As an IT Project Manager, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of integration, implementation, and upgrade projects spanning software and infrastructure, with a primary focus on software. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders within IT and across different business units.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management, from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and successful completion of projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and risks effectively to meet business goals.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to drive project alignment and consensus.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure thorough documentation throughout the project life cycle, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, to track progress and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing technology projects, preferably within a software-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
