SQL Database Administrator (Contract)
Location: Farnborough Country: UK Rate: £550 - £650 per day
I am working with a client who is looking for a DV cleared SQL DBA to join them on contract basis whilst they develop a new Managed Service to replace a complex Legacy Enterprise infrastructure, requiring high automation and repeatable component design patterns. This role is inside IR35.
This is a fully on-site role based out of my clients Farnborough office. It would be great if you have experience with database security auditing, experience with other database platforms such as MariaDB and troubleshooting database related errors but not essential.
You will require experience with:
- Database Administration (SQL Proficient)
- Database Security
- Database Performance Tuning
- Backup & Recovery
Your day to day will vary but you can expect to:
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server database instances
- Monitor and report on database performance, health, and availability
- Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of database configurations
