Technical Design Lead (Contract)

Technical Design Lead

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires Technical Design Lead to be based at their client's office in London, UK.

This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London office 2-3 days per week.

This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP.

Day rate: Competitive Market rate.

Job Role

  • A Technical Lead with expertise in technically guiding and managing delivery teams ensuring end to end delivery of functional, non-functional and technical requirements.
  • Should play a key role in an IT landscape transformation program for a leading UK airlines group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the delivery of system changes as agreed with the Architects.
  • Work closely with System Architects and delivery team and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Collaborating with the team to meet the committed scope and timelines.
  • Be the go-to person for the team to resolve technical issues and unblock.
  • Delivering the technical artefacts, developing knowledge base, identifying process improvements and help develop solutions.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical expertise
  • Technical expertise - C, C++, Java, J2EE, Springboot, AWS, Terraform, DevOps, Python.
  • Business acumen - Airline domain knowledge preferable
  • Team skills
  • Client facing, leading development team, supportive
