IT Operation Engineer- London (Contract)
Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £250 - £260 per day
 

Montreal Associates are looking for a IT Operation Engineer for a client based in London.

Location: Central London/4 days onsite. Nearest underground station: Bank

Start Date: ASAP

Duration/length: 6-month renewable contract, long-term assignment

Languages: English/ French could be a plus

Background and Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the following technologies: Windows and Linux Servers, VMware, Active Directory, Networks basics, Microsoft Exchange

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge on Citrix, Veeam, AWS, Azure, MS SQL, Oracle
  • Experience in an international company

Objectives:

  • Maintain systems operationnal
  • Provide level 2 support
  • Handle upgrades and patches

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of level 2 tickets
  • Monitor systems, networks and infrastructure workflows
  • Upgrade and patch our systems and hardware
  • Open and follow incidents with providers
  • Document incidents and processes
